I only have two kids, but all it takes is a talk on the way, then a look and a "come sit down by me" and we're all good. Not that hard really.
And team don't drug your kids to make them sleepy! wtf, I have a couple of friends who have pulled the Benadryl trick, to a major side-eye from me. Just parent them dammit!!! It's bed time, go to sleep! If you start young with them, they will fall in line when you lay down the law. Just sayin.

And yeah - just to defend myself cuz y'all are making me feel like an asshole...I DEFINITELY don't mean at bed time LOL! And this is from a mom whose kid NEVER fell in line - every day I lay down the damn law, for years - but I never resorted to drugging her for it.
I mean, like, when your kid's got the major dramas (which, quite frankly, often means their getting sick) and you have to sit in an airplane with 100 other people for 6 hours.
And, for myself, it never came to that (to be fair I din't fly much AND I also tormented a bus full of people once - sorry folks!;p), but wouldn't hate on a bitch for trying it in a pinch....
and like I said: Octo doesn't really count - she could have orchestrated much better from the sounds of things - which should always be Plan A.
