Hey there, I'm Karli Bulnes. Super stylist Rachel Zoe revealed to us that she almost gave son Skyler a Twilight-related name. Hear why she held back in PopSugar Rush!
"Let me tell you there were a lot of people in my life that thought that I would definitely name him Cullen. Don't think I didn't think about, like, Cullen."
Rachel Zoe says that after watching Twilight movies all throughout her pregnancy, she actually considered calling her son "Cullen." The proud member of Team Edward said that the last name of her favorite vampire family truly appealed to her, but she stopped short of using a Twilight-inspired moniker since she didn't want her son to resent the reference as he grew older.
Rachel Zoe "It wasn't going to be Edward but I was thinking of the name Cullen at one point and I was like, he will hate me later in life if I do that and I say oh you were named after a Twilight character. Like I can only imagine so you know, trust me the thought actually did cross my mind for sure."
Rachel and husband Rodger ended up choosing the name "Skyler" for their little boy, but had the baby been born a girl, Rachel admitted she would have had some explaining to do when it came to her name.
"I will say the truth, is that one of my favorite names if I were to have a girl, was always Isabella, so that would have been kind of funny. And I would have been like swearing to people that it was before Twilight that I wanted that name."
"It's like nothing to me is more exciting than having a Twilight marathon and popcorn with you right now."
The super stylist and designer has never kept her love for the saga closeted ? she's tweeted about watching the films, and on her Bravo show she and friend Joey held a movie marathon while husband Rodger was away. We asked Rachel which of the two men in her life ? Rodger or Joey ? she'd rather bring to watch Breaking Dawn in the theater, and just like Bella, it was hard for her to decide.
"Both. One on each side for sure."
