Here are some new photos of Angelina Jolie taking three of her kids to see The Muppets in New York City. I guess only Shiloh, Zahara and Pax wanted to see The Muppets? Maddox was all, ?I?d rather see Arthur Christmas, y?all. I?ll sit this one out.? And Vivienne and Knox are too little for Muppet movies, I suppose. I don?t really have much to say about these photos ? Angelina looks pretty, and it?s totally unnecessary for her to be wearing shades, considering it?s dark out. I love the body language of Zahara and Pax, though ? Pax is wearing a shark mask, and he must not be able to see, so Zahara is all, ?I?ll show you the way, my brother.?
Meanwhile, Angelina Jolie is getting sued in federal court. Croatian journalist James J. Braddock claims that Jolie ?stole? the story for her film In the Land of Blood and Honey from an article (and book) he wrote about a woman who was subjected to rape in a POW camp.
Angelina Jolie is being sued for allegedly stealing the story behind her new movie, In the Land of Blood and Honey, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting.
In legal documents filed in federal court obtained by Radar, Croatian journalist and author James J. Braddock (aka Josip J. Knezevic) says an article he wrote and published in 2007 is the basis for the film, which was written and directed by Jolie.
The film is a fictionalized account of an unlikely love story between a Serbian soldier and a Muslim woman during the Bosnian War. Brad Pitt was often on location when Angie was working, taking photographs of her at work.
As an example of the similarities between the story he published and the storyline of the film, the lawsuit states:
?The Subject Work?s main female character is subject to continuous abuse and rape by soldiers and officers in the camp. In addition to being raped continuously by soldiers and officers, she is forced to become a servant at the camp headquarters, a duty assumed by very few of the captives. The Motion Picture?s main female character is also subject to continuous rape by soldiers and officers in the camp and subsequently becomes a servant at camp headquarters.?
Braddock has also named GK Films, the L.A.-based production company which financed and is releasing the film, and several other entities.
He?s demanding a jury trial asking the court to award him damages.
In the Land of Blood and Honey opens December 23.

God knows, I?m accused of playing favorites when it comes to Angelina (it?s true ? she?s one of my favorites), but this guy doesn?t seem to have much of a case, by his own admission. He claims that Angelina took his articles and books and CHANGED them into a ?banal love story? that would be impossible during the war?? Which means that she didn?t copy his story, she created her own story which is set partially in a POW camp. This guy doesn?t OWN the concept of POW camps. He also doesn?t help his case by claiming that Angelina is just like a Serbian aggressor in 1992. It seems like this guy is just pissed off at the world and hoping that Angelina will just shell out some hush money.
Angelina is in New York ahead of the premiere of In the Land of Blood and Honey, which will be happening this week. Will Brad be there? What will she wear? Will she field questions about this lawsuit?

The poor kids are being blinded by the flashes. This is terrible, no wonder she looks pissed off.
Pax is wearing a new style of hoodie that zips up to look like a mask but the kid can still see where he?s going. They?re super popular here in NYC all of a sudden.

The paps are too close.
this is why they wear sunglasses. Brad said he has eye damage from the flashes. Which is why he wears glasses now (they are not shades as some want to say). I read an article once where the reporter said that when he stood up, there were thousands of flashes in his face in less than a few seconds. I?m sure the same for Angie. You can imagine what that does to the eyes.
The kids don?t get that often. They are not out a lot at night. But the reality is their pictures are going to be taken. The paps don?t have to be that close.

This guy is crazy he?s been making these rants on every Angelina post for months (I?m surprise he?s never posted here) Not going to call her a saint(although someone will accuse me of it sooner or later). The idiot?s argument is silly. No one owns the copyright to a news event. He wrote a book based on historical events. She wrote a script based on the same events. Neither one is the first or last to write on those events. Just like there isn?t just one book/movie on the Civil War, WWII or Vietnam. By his own admission there are major differences in their stories. I think he just wants publicity for his book.

i?m guessing she might be wearing shades to be able to see through all the camera flashes. just look at the kids ? they?re squinting and grimacing. she?s probably wearing them to be able to actually walk them into the theatre without crashing into something.

I think she just came from her taped interview with Christiane Amanpour which will air on Sunday and Monday.
I saw her makeup person in the car. So it looks like they got the kids and headed to the theater
This is just a silly lawsuit. But I?m sure the Angie none fans will be here in mass. So happy. but like all their celebrations this will end the same. Angie nor GK seem to even care. And he wants to be noticed and not ignored. She and Brad ignored the ?tell all? books that didn?t tell shit. The truth wins out. So my money is on Ms. Jolie for the win. She is 7-0 now..

Really lame. I?m sure there are plenty of books, article and other resources where you can find stories that resemble Jolie?s film (that hasn?t even come out yet!) it is after all based on historical events! This seems like a grab for money and/or attention. Besides, it very difficult to come up with anything new that has never been done before but I have a feeling that the film IS going to be original and risky (definitely with Jolie her own experience with such delicate topics) so it?s really sad that somebody tries to piss on that.
I?m aware that I wasn?t supportive about her directing and writing skills and was indecisive about the trailer but the story is something special so I?ll give her that. Maybe I?ll even make an effort and drag my ass to the cinema to see it but I doubt it. I rather wait for the dvd and the extras

A lot of celebrities do wear sunglasses at night probably because of the paps. I actually laugh when people say Kaiser is pro Angelina/Brad considering she says that all of the rumors are true or mostly true. It sounds like the lawsuit is a publicity stunt. As said it sounds like only the concept is the same and nothing else.

How do the paps know she?s going to be there and how come she was prepared with sunglasses and Pax with a mask. Other high profile people seem to be able to move around privately when they like.

Sure, let the flashes blind her enough so she can walk into a wall, for example. Can?t you see how the kids are making faces and shielding their eyes, because of the white flashes? They can hurt your eyes pretty bad, you know.

Reading the acticle, I noticed the unnessary and out of place sentence about Pitt taking a picture on set. I know they are a couple but they were individuals before they met and still are. The writer of Radar has no subtelty.
