These are photos from last Friday?s grand opening of the Apple Store at Grand Central Station in NYC. Blake Lively was there ? because she?s an Apple girl? Can we talk about her coat for a minute? I would like to see a version of the coat without the Christmas-tree skirt draped around her shoulders. What?s that? THAT is part of the design of the coat?!? Hideous. But I guess we should praise Blake for being covered up ? she hardly ever wears this much.
In other Blake news, she and Ryan Reynolds just got pap?d together. AGAIN. You can see the ?morning after? photo here ? Blake and Ryan in NYC, with coffee and hats. I know Lainey is always asking ?How does she DO that?? but the single most amazing thing about Blake?s game is that she ends up with the guys who are notoriously private, the dudes who are rarely ? if ever ? photographed with their ladies. And then when they get with Blake, suddenly their affair is all for general consumption, they get pap?d in intimate outings, with astounding frequency. That happened when Blake was with Leo, and now it?s happening with Ryan Reynolds, who is usually way more locked down. And now the ?happy, happy couple? tabloid reports begin. Blake?s publicist managed to get this in People Magazine:
It?s holiday time in the city, and Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are making the most of it ? criss-crossing Manhattan on Saturday for a double-date breakfast on the Lower East Side and coffee in the West Village.
The couple, who?ve been heating up as the temperatures drop, joined Lively?s sister Robin and her husband for breakfast at one of Blake?s favorite restaurants in the city, the Stanton Social.
The couple shared a breakfast of doughnuts, tacos de huevos, bacon-egg-and-cheese biscuits, pierogies and muffins. They were very cuddly, giggling and leaning on each other in the booth.
In addition, the new couple hit up coffee shop Mojo on Charles Street in the West Village. They were touchy-feely, with Reynolds, 35, dressed in checked slacks, Chucks and a henley layered under a sweater, and Lively, 24, wearing a curve-hugging charcoal shift, netted tights and boots. Lively chatted with patrons as she waited for her coffee, even introducing herself to one. The Gossip Girl star also seemed taken with a piece of art that looked like a collage of gumballs, snapping a pic on her iPhone.

Sigh? that?s a lot of breakfast, right? That?s a lot of carbs. I?m not sure that I buy that Blake eats doughnuts and muffins and biscuits and pierogies and all of that. But maybe Ryan likes girls that eat. And Blake is changing for him! Sigh?

I know, Lainey used to be my go-to blog, but now I?m all about Celebitchy. I get the impression that Lainey and her friends to be kinda full of themselves- I feel like if we met in real life I wouldn?t be ?cool? enough for them, or wouldn?t be wearing the right thing- Lainey?s gone from the girl who seems like your pal to that popular girl in highschool. hahahaha Kaiser thank you for posting the sad clown photo at top. The photo embodies everything i feel about this girl, totally hot until i see her face. Pretty, when set in normal smile, questionable in any other state.
ALSO i cannot read anymore of Lainey?s postins on Blake. Don?t get me wrong i always love Lainey POV on things BUT the constant ?How does she DO that?? is starting to get grating and feel a little like someone?s pimping for her publicist. Please this girl?s game is to get hitched and/or possibly knocked up to the biggest star she can before she loses momentum its like watching your friend who desparately wants to marry a doctor stand outside the Science building at college looking for a ?tutor?.

I agree 100%. The only time I can?t stand Lainey is when she?s talking about Blake. She knows that Blake put the moves on a married man and still praises her. If it was Ashley Greene or Jessica Biel -two actresses Lainey constantly makes fun of- she would give them hell. Part of me feels like she?s getting paid for it. I can?t even believe she tries to put Blake on Scarlett?s level.

I?m never the sort who steps up in favour a woman trying to hit on a married man but I can?t help but be fascinated by Blake?s game as well. One can be fascinated and pay attention to all of the gossip stories about her without condoning what she tried to do when Ryan was married. What I find most interesting about the Ryan/Blake thing is that yes, she?s been outed as trying to make the moves on Ryan and Ryan was able to not succumb to it. But once Ryan was free and Blake approached again, he was all over it. My guess is that she knew Ryan and ScarJo were in trouble and ScarJo wasn?t ready to let go and told her to back off (rightfully so). Blake could have made her attempt immediately after the separation but she waited until after Ryan had a couple of flings with unknowns and a dalliance with Charlize Theron before making the final move. And it paid off!
Bigger celebrities haven?t been able to pull that off without looking terrible in the press. Yet Blake receives kudos and positive press from *all* the tabloids. So I can?t hate on Lainey for asking ?How does she DO that? because everyone is smitten!
